How'd you get that "Guttural FX" drone? Simple....record 80 men gargling in a cathedral. (The hard part is trying to keep everyone from laughing!)
How about the infinite falling vocal effect of "Vertigo"? Have 40 sopranos cover their ears (so they can't hear one another) and have each one sing a slowly rising and falling pitch, effectively becoming 40 independent pitch LFOs. It's enough to make you sick!
